The Theater
Mashiro Theater is a virtual theater built in VRChat. This page introduces the theater's spaces and its lighting, sound, and stage effects.

Lobby
A café-style lounge with sofa seating, tables, and a counter.
Relax and unwind here after the show.
Auditorium
Seats approximately 40–60, with balconies on the second and third floors.
The low stage and close proximity to the audience create a more immersive experience.
Dressing Rooms
The second floor has two dressing rooms, A and B.
Each has a mirror and a monitor showing the stage, and the rooms are soundproofed.
Under the Stage
There is also a space beneath the stage, where the stage lift can be operated.
Studio
The first floor has a large studio with mirrors and a pen tool.
Free to use for daily rehearsals, pre-show setup, or as a backstage area.
Plaza
Across from the theater is a plaza with benches and a terrace.
A space for meeting cast members after the show and sharing impressions with other attendees.
Equipment
Lighting
A full set of theatrical lighting — ceiling, front, suspended, side, footlights, horizon, and pin spots. Each group can be adjusted with faders, and colors and sizes can be changed.
Real-world lighting techniques can be applied directly.
Sound
BGM and sound effects are easy to operate from a dedicated control panel, and the audio can be freely replaced.
Reverb can also be switched.
Operator Area
The third floor has an area where operators can control lighting, sound, and effects while watching the stage.
Stage Effects
Stage Machinery
Essential theatrical effects — blackouts, smoke, the main curtain, a scrim, and house lights — are all built in. Props and sets can be freely arranged with 3D models.
Bold staging, including complete set replacements mid-show, is possible.
Particles
Drifting dust, glittering starfields — fantastical virtual expressions are at your disposal.
Visual Effects
Screen noise, shaking, color grading — visual effects impossible in the real world can be realized in real time.
Post Effects
Change the color tone of the entire stage in real time, adding visual effects that are hard to achieve in the real world.
Gimmicks & Operations
Security
Each performance is protected by a passcode, ensuring only authorized personnel can enter backstage.
Subtitle System
Displays film-style subtitles within the space, with support for switching between multiple languages.
Timeline Control Tool
A gimmick that manages the progression of effects such as lighting and sound. We also provide a Unity tool for building effects easily.

Using the Theater
Applications & Inquiries
We offer theater venue rental for those who want to stage VR theater productions. The space is also available for improv, dance, readings, comedy, and other performance uses.
